OKC Pride Block Party & Concert
The 2016 Block Party and Concert was held Friday, June 24 at 8pm on the 39th Street Strip and featured the First Ladies of Disco! This concert was free and open to the public by OKC Pride and represented the largest OKC Pride concert ever!
Love is Love Marriage Ceremony
This was the 4th annual commitment ceremony for OKC Pride, last year you could legalize your union on the main stage standing before the community. Some were already married however, still participated in renewing their vows or recommitment. ALL couples were welcome! On Saturday, June 25th at 4PM on the Main Stage, Pastor Neil Spurgin Coffman officiated.
The 2016 Pride arts Festival will took place Saturday, June 25th from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Sunday, June 26th, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, along with the Family Festival at Expressions Community Center. The main stage featured all-day entertainment for the whole community.
On Sunday, June 26 at 6 p.m. Lineup for entries started at 4 p.m. on Classen between NW 34th St and NW 38th St. resulting in the biggest Parade Oklahoma City has ever seen! The parade route ran from NW 39th St between Classen and Youngs Boulevards with the Grandstand at NW 39th St and Barnes Avenue
OKC Pride 2nd Annual Mental Health, Prevention and Education Symposium was held Friday, June 17, 2016 and addressed proven methods for reducing barriers in the Gender Diverse community and provided quality services. We have made numerous advances in equality in the areas of gender diversity. These advances have brought with them new questions and potential fears for both service providers and those they serve.
